VitriTherm-FireShield sleeving and tape products are designed to protect hoses, cables, and wire harnesses from exposure to high temperatures, flames, molten metal, and welding sparks. FireShield is a high-grade extruded fiberglass sleeve coated in silicone rubber. It assembles easily over hoses and will expand over fittings and connectors.

FireShield is also availab le in a erospace grade, which will withstand short-term flame exposure of up to 2000ºF (1093ºC) when installed on a hose assembly qualified to SAE Aerospace standard 1055. We also provide an industrial grade, which is designed for less severe applications.
